Things you should know:

All patients are required to have a pre-surgical appointment the day before the scheduled procedure, so please be sure to arrive sufficiently in advance to accommodate this critical pre-operative visit.

Most patients will be required to stay in Maitland/Orlando at least 7-14 days after the procedure, to ensure that the body is healing sufficiently to make airplane travel safe. Dr. Beltre will advise you on how long you should plan on staying in the area once he has had an opportunity to review your medical records and develop your customized surgical plan.

Arranging transportation to and from the surgical center, as well as post-operative nursing care, is a critical part of making sure your procedure is safe and effective. Our staff will help you contact a nursing organization that can provide the necessary post-operative support during the day or two immediately following your procedure.
