BARIATRIC SURGERY SUPPORT GROUP MEETING DETAILS

We would like to invite you to participate in the monthly meetings of our Bariatric Surgery Support Group.  The goal of these meetings is to discuss a wide array of topics of interest to all weight loss surgery patients, as well as those considering weight loss surgery. These meetings will give you an opportunity to share your experiences, express any frustrations or difficulties you may be experiencing with a sympathetic group of listeners, and even brag—yes, brag—about your weight loss progress and successful experiences with others who can appreciate how important even small successes can be! You will have the opportunity to ask questions, gain additional information and insight through shared experiences and group discussions, and gain comfort and strength through knowing that you are not alone as you progress through recovery and into your new life. These meetings are informal, very informative, and a lot of fun. Please join us and come prepared with your questions!

• From Orlando: Take I4 to 408 west (East-West Highway) to Exit 1 (West 50 exit), turn left onto SR-50 West Colonial Dr. Drive for about one mile, and the hospital will be on the left (gray and red building).  If you are on S. Clarke Rd and reach Mathews Paris Blvd, you’ve gone too far.
• From Conroy-Windermere and Apopka Vineland Roads: 6 miles (approximately 8 minutes) to Health Central. Take Apopka Vineland Road north to Old Winter Garden Road and turn left. Health Central will be on your left.
• From Downtown Windermere: 5 miles (approximately 10 minutes) to Health Central. Take Maguire Road north to Colonial Drive (Highway 50) and turn right. Health Central will be on your right.
• From Silver Star and Hiawassee Roads. 5 miles (approximately 12 minutes) to Health Central. Take Hiawassee Road south to Colonial Drive (highway 50) and turn right. Health Central will be on your left.
• From Dillard Street and Colonial Drive (Highway 50): 3.5 miles (approximately 6 minutes) to Health Central.   Take Colonial Drive (Highway 50) east. Health Central will be on your right.
